Cuban Pork Bites
The flavors of a classic Cuban sandwich—miniaturized!
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon grainy mustard
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped chives
- 3 slices good sandwich bread, toasted
- 2–3 slices Swiss cheese
- 1 small dill pickle, thinly sliced
- 3 slices Applegate Naturals Cuban Roast Pork
Instructions
- In a small bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, mustard, and chives.
- Cut off the crusts from the toasted bread, then cut each slice into 4 small squares. Cut the Swiss cheese into 12 squares that are the same size as the toast squares.
- Top each toast square with some of the mayonnaise mixture, a slice of Swiss cheese, and a pickle slice. Roll each roast pork slice into a tight roll, then cut crosswise into 4 pieces. Place a roast pork roll on top of each toast and secure with a wooden pick. Serve at once.
