Applegate Farms "#Wienervention" Contest

Official Rules

Deadline for Entry:
On or before June 20 2014 for the first winner selection
On or before July 24 2014 for the second winner selection
On or before August 29 2014 for the third winner selection

Friends don't let friends eat bad wieners! Applegate is holding a #Wienervention contest, offering people around the country the opportunity to win a year supply of one kind of natural or organic hot dogs offered by Applegate. We'll be selecting a total of three winners. The winner may choose one kind of hot dog from the following:

Natural Big Apple Hot Dog
Natural Beef Hot Dog
Natural Chicken Hot Dog
Natural Turkey Hot Dog
The Great Organic Hot Dog 12 oz
The Great Organic Hot Dog 16 oz

Tweet or post a photo via Twitter, Facebook or Instagram using hashtag #Wienervention. You can tweet or post as many images as you would like. The entry process is easy! Pick any or all of the three steps below:

1. Follow Applegate on Instagram and post a photo using hashtag #Wienervention.
2. Like Applegate on Facebook and post a photo using hashtag #Wienervention.
3. Follow Applegate on Twitter and tweet a photo using hashtag #Wienervention.

The winner will be contacted on the image they posted that has won, or via twitter response to their tweet. They may be disqualified if they fail to respond with their contact and shipping information.

This contest is void where prohibited by law.

Your Agreements in Submitting a Nomination

By following Applegate and hash tagging an image with #Wienervention, you represent and warrant to Applegate that (1) you are 18 years of age or older; and (2) the image is original and does not infringe anyone else's rights. By submitting the image, you grant Applegate a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to publish, republish, distribute, reproduce, edit, modify, and create derivative works from the entry, an unlimited number of times in any print, electronic or other medium, with no attribution to you, all in Applegate's sole discretion. In addition, by submitting the image, you agree to indemnify and defend Applegate from any claims based on any and all use of that material.

How Do I Enter?

Tweet or post a photo via Twitter, Facebook or Instagram using hashtag #Wienervention. You can tweet or post as many images as you would like. The entry process is easy! Pick any or all of the three steps below:

What Are the Important Dates That I Need to Know?

June Entry Deadline: June 20 2014 - Winner Announced by June 27 2014

August Entry Deadline: August 29 2014 - Winner Announced by September 5 2014

Who Will Win the Contest?

Applegate will select the best tweet or photo with Hashtag #Wienervention. That person will be selected as the winner. A total of 3 winners will be selected.

Applegate may disqualify any winner in the event he or she is in breach of these Official Rules.

If a winner is unable to accept the prize, Applegate will randomly select an alternative winner.

Entrants grant to Applegate the right to use and publish their proper name online and in print, or any other media, in connection with the Contest.

Applegate reserves the right to use any and all information related to the Contest, including information obtained through the contest, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.

The winner may select one of the following as their prize:

One case of the selected product, which includes twelve, twelve ounce packages, will be shipped to the winner every three months for one year. The total prize is four cases of product.

Other Rules:

• Employees of Applegate, its vendors and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of each are not eligible.
• By submitting an image, you agree that Applegate may contact you via email and postal mail about Applegate's products and services.
• The Contest and all of the related pages, contents and code, and the copyright therein, are the property of Applegate. Copying or unauthorized use of any copyrighted materials, trademarks or any other intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.
• The winner, by acceptance of a prize, agrees to release all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize.
• If for any reason the selected product becomes unavailable, Applegate will substitute the prize with a product of equal of greater value.
• Taxes, if any, on prizes are the sole responsibility of the grant recipient.
• Automated submissions of any kind is not allowed. Detection of automated nomination schemes will lead to nominations being voided.
• Applegate's decisions regarding the winners are final except as otherwise specified in these Rules.
