18 23 25 561 skilletsausage apples large

Just another organic sausage recipe? Oh, we think not!

But first, a little about apples...

Braeburns or golden delicious are the perfect apples for this dish because they hold their shape when cooked, are just sweet enough, and never too tart. Calvados is an apple-flavored brandy from the Normandy region of France.

But if you like you can use Applejack as a delicious substitute.

Serves 8 | Total Time: Less Than 30 Mins

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 8 Applegate Organic Chicken & Apple Sausages

  5. Return the sausages to the skillet with the apples.

  7. Cook, shaking the skillet over the heat, until the butter melts and the sauce is bubbling, 2 - 3 minutes.
